Jack is a master of Lego. And he is forever branching out into new territory. He recently started designing his own creations on Lego Digital Designer. And tonight, after looking at yet another Lego book from the library, used up my store of baking powder to create a skiing scene with his minifigures.
I am an amateur photographer with aspirations. Jack was more than happy to see me pull out my lights and camera in an attempt to capture the scene. Oh, we have much to learn, and probably much to purchase to even make a real attempt at this thing! Yet I see this as a great way to build our relationship and meld our talents.

"Umm...I see the tablecloth in the background. Quick, what do we have that is blue? A 3 ring binder? Set it up!" |
The binder looks better, but I see the cardboard on the left. We are out of blue things. Hmm. |
What the heck is that blur in the corner?! Quit brushing baking powder off the minifigure! |
Hey! Maybe we can make it look like it is snowing. A little too much perhaps. And I see a rivet from the binder. |
Looks more like snow, but that rivet is still in the background. |
Tablecloth on the left. We need more backdrops. |
Hey. Not too bad. But we should add skis. |
Even better. We are getting there. |
Man. This is a lot harder than one would think! A whole new world of photography! |
